Sherry Shahan is a teal-haired septuagenarian who creates art in a laid-back California beach town. She holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and taught a creative writing course for UCLA Extension for 10 years. She’s been nominated for The Pushcart Poetry Prize (2024) and The Pushcart Prize for Short Fiction (2025).
